MY WORD WILL COME FORTH LIKE FIRE
IN THAT DAY
Excerpt from Chapter 7
“The prophetic signs are all in acceleration. The nations will tremble, and the kingdoms of man will all fall to the ground. The American dream will be shattered, and the New World Order will rise from the ruins. It will remain for only a short while, then the Kingdom of GOD shall come. Fear not what you are about to see and hear. Focus your thoughts in the heavenly, and keep your eyes on Me. I the LORD will heal My people of their backsliding, and restore to them the years the locusts have taken from them. The soul is the battleground, and I will conquer the enemy for you. Remember, I have saved the best wine for last. I will give it unto you, and I shall pour out on My righteous ones My power, that you may do greater works than I. This is My word, and I shall bring it to pass."
"The mustering of the troops is underway, and I am calling even now for My sanctified ones, who rejoice in My holiness. I have numbered My own, they are all accounted for, fully arranged in order and rank. They know their identity, and are accounted worthy to stand in My presence, and will be given charge of My courts. They have been first called, and then approved in fire. I have chosen them from among the many. I have placed My seal of approval upon them, and with holiness I sanctify their lives. I shall write My name upon their foreheads. My chosen sons and daughters shall all bear My name, and they shall glory in Me alone. My witnesses shall open the secret mysteries of My word to My people. My word will come forth in this season like fire, and many shall fall, but My righteous shall rejoice. Famine shall cover the land, but My anointed ones shall be full."
"The wise shall understand, and they will continue to watch, and keep their lamps trimmed with My holy oil. The vanguard of My host is ready. I shout to My chosen ones, and they all hear My voice. The coming year will bring many signs and wonders. My chosen ones will be noble warriors in that day, walking in My power and anointing. Distress among nations, and fearful signs shall come in the heavens, but be not dismayed at these signs. I the LORD have the dominion. The earth and the fullness thereof is mine and mine alone. Know and understand that I am sovereign, all things are under My control, for I am King who rules over His entire Kingdom. I say unto you, do not fear what is to come. Fear only Me."
"The barley harvest has begun, and I will soon gather My first fruits into My secret place. Then I will come and gather the wheat from among the tares. I shall purge My wheat with fire, to purify a people for Myself, and the tares shall be burned with unquenchable fire!"
"As it was in the day of Pentecost, so it shall be again. The end of all flesh is at hand, and I will begin by purifying the minds of my chosen ones. I shall come again to Zion in the fullness of My Spirit and I will pour out My great glory upon My humble ones. Now gather yourselves together, and begin to fast and pray. The war which is about to be fought is spiritual, and I shall provide the weapons for this battle. I am raising up young lions from among My sheep. My hand will be lifted up against all My enemies. I come to make war on the earth, and I shall wage war in the heavens above. Make your shields ready, for I am coming as KING. I am standing now ready for battle. Behold, My people shall rise up as a great lion, and as a young lion they will not lie down until they have seized the prey. And the slain of the LORD shall be many in that day."
HIS THUNDER ANNOUNCES THE COMING STORM
A great storm is approaching our world. When a storm approaches, the first evidence is the sound of distant thunder. The coming storm is spiritual, and the thunder is the prophetic word of our GOD. “His thunder announces the coming storm; even the cattle make known its approach.” The cattle are the people of the LORD who can hear the prophetic word, and know the storm will soon be revealed. The prophetic voice of the LORD announces the word of GOD as thunder. “The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.” The LORD uses His voice of thunder to announce the hour of judgment. “Hast thou an arm like GOD? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?”
Today, all over America, the LORD is announcing the coming storm. David Wilkerson’s latest newsletter is aptly entitled, The Only Hope in the Coming Storm. The storm is about to begin and the rain which is now falling is the word of the LORD. “My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.” The word of GOD is rain, and only those who can discern the Spirit can receive this latter day rain. The LORD has been speaking His word of warning to America for years, but the people are all deaf, dumb and blind. The nation has come to the point of no return, and only a few recognize the hour is upon us. “The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.” The proper meaning of this verse is the prophet is thought to be a fool, and the spiritual ones are seen as crazy! Why? Because the people are so backslidden and blinded by their sin, they cannot discern the word of GOD.
Woe unto you America, and those who stand among you to mock My word, saith the LORD! Is not My word fire, declares the LORD! It shall burn all who have betrayed My holiness, and despised My grace.
THEY SHALL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING
Jesus is speaking of the tribulation period itself, when He says “then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory” This is a picture of the days immediately preceding the Second Coming of the LORD. Jesus tells his own, when you see these things come to pass, and the men of the earth who don’t know the LORD are literally dying from fear, “you lift up your heads for your redemption is drawing near!” Jesus tells us His faithful remnant to lift our heads, don’t be downcast and full of fear like the heathen, for our redemption is coming. How will the bride of Christ be able to lift their heads in the midst of the most terrible time the world has even known? By looking to the LORD, and keeping our eyes and faith upon him, and by trusting his word. Dear reader, these days are described by the prophets as “The Day of the LORD.” It is His day, and none other! JESUS CHRIST will be in complete control of every thing! We who know the LORD can rejoice, but we must learn to walk in faith, not trusting our own understanding, nor looking on the outward circumstances, but looking to His word and His precious promises, to His faithful ones.
I WILL PROTECT THAT WHICH IS MINE
The LORD is coming to bring the final judgment and if you are not right with GOD, you have every reason to fear! Dear saint, if you know Him, and have opened the door of your heart to Him as LORD, you have no reason to fear anything but the LORD! “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But who so ever keeps his word, in him verily is the love of GOD perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” Understand this, to find Him you must first seek Him with your whole heart, and turn from your sins. The delivered remnant who will endure this hour, walk in obedience. If you have bowed in humble submission to the LORD, you have no reason to fear anything. Fear only the LORD for this is the beginning of wisdom.
I was shown the Day of the LORD in the fall of 1996 and for seven days, the Spirit of the LORD burned upon my soul, with a fire I cannot describe. I spent hours, each day weeping, and crying out to the LORD. Every time I began to pray, I would fall to the ground on my face before my GOD. The LORD had shown me in the Spirit what would come. I witnessed the severe judgment, which will first fall upon the church. I was caught up, as if in a dream, and I was standing in one of the detention camps, with my wife and children. In the process of separating from them, I experienced a level of heartbreak I could never have imagined exists on this earth. As the vision ended, I fell to the ground on my face screaming out loud, and weeping as I cried out “LORD, what must we do to be saved from these judgments?” Jesus answered me in a clear voice saying,
“I will protect that which is mine, everything else will be destroyed.”This then is the test dear friend, are you the LORD’S? Do you belong to the Him? Does He own your life? Have you died to self, surrendering all to Him and His will? If you have, and you are His, you have nothing to fear. Only fear the LORD, for that is the beginning of wisdom. This is the very word Jesus spoke himself in the gospel. How we failed to discern His true meaning: “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.”
